Cry of Crow – Dark Fantasy Novel

Hello, everyone! After some large deliberation, I decided to release some of my written novels on this site. I didn’t allude to it in my previous posts, but I do write novels. It is my passion and something that I wish to do for the rest of my days on this mortal coil.

Rather than letting them collect dust (digital dust). I will be placing it on this site as a means of letting people experience them if they desire.

I decided to start with the first novel that I have written. This one is by far the roughest one. It’s better to call this my 1.5 novel considering that I rewrote it two years after its original creation. As other artists may know, you sometimes have these dream projects that stick to you for years.

I have described this novel as one that I carried around like a coffin. I have since got over it. I learned the joys of starting new projects and have been slowly making up for lost time in the years after I let it go. I still think that there’s plenty of good here.  

I know that this blog was previously used to discuss topics that I am interested in, and those types of posts won’t go away. I will resume those once my life settles into some form of normalcy.  I actually want to post a short snippet discussing Kamen Rider Zeztz as it will be airing globally tomorrow.

I did want to make some things clear before you read this novel:

1. Trigger Warning: Child Abuse. The main character is a character who was abused in his past. This primarily manifests as both emotional and physical abuse. Particularly, abuse enacted by a parental figure under religious justification. While these scenes are not abundant, they do hang over the narrative. If this is something that you feel would affect you in any way, then please avoid this novel. I don’t want to negatively impact someone’s mental health.

3. Final point is that this novel can be read for completely free on this site, but for transparency, I wanted to add that this novel was published as an eBook on amazon for $2.99. This version of novel is just in case someone wants to support me. I do want to make it clear that there is no pressure at all to buy for the paid version. Whether you read a single page or the whole thing, I don’t want you to feel obligated to pay me. This especially applies if you don’t have expendable income. There are better uses of your money than giving them to a random novelist.

The font and everything your typical manuscript formatting and there are no illustrations, so it should be an easy read.
